Call me MF Escher!

Came up with this doodle while learning ZBrush last night. I’m building a library of nurnies to import into trueSpace for some render tests. Maybe it’ll lead to some new MINI roof designs…. :-)

Enter anything, like MINI, or fart. Let it run for a bit and click the created type, click off into white space to restore the view. BRILLIANT!

Muddy Waters and Mick Jagger at Checkerboard Lounge

Skip forward for a pretty stoned looking Jagger and Waters performing “champange and reefer”… go figure. Includes one song with Buddy Guy! Muddy Waters and Mick Jagger at Checkerboard Lounge

New Cooper in the house!

Now that the last “child” is about to leave the nest, the Honda Accord has been feeling like a ponderous, daunting, BIG, family boat to Val. It’s a rock solid piece of work but isn’t putting a smile on her face. So, MINI number two enters the family and the Accord is up for sale. This pic shows the result:

Owls Clover

The unusually spactacular wildflower season is showing signs of winding down. The first couple of weeks without rain combined with temps in the 80’s over the past weekend and high wind yesterday have begun to dry out the grasses on the hill top. Everything is well into seed. Owls Clover is one of the last species to make a big appearance in the neighborhood. Next up will be the Cholla and Barrel cacti, followed by Saguaro blooms in June.
